1. I take calls from my customers who give me their credit card info. How should I inform them of the convenience fee charge?
The person receiving the call should tell them that they can pay their invoice and a convenience fee. The convenience fee must be a flat
or fixed fee for all transactions and will be added to what is owed to make for one transaction.
2. We want the deposit to go into one account and the fees to come out of another.
We can help you at PBC as we have that capability.
3, Can I process at no charge by using PayByComputer?
No. When using PayByComputer merchants have to pay to have the service- it is not totally fee free. While the monthly fees are more
than reasonable, the costs of accepting credit card and electronic checks can be free.
4. What can I do to avoid paying for accepting all credit cards?
If you chose to charge a.fee.for accepting on alternate payment, you may charge a convenience fee and you can accept Visa, Master
Card, and Discover, American Express and Electronic Checks. The fee you charge has to be a flat or fixed fee. The convenience fee will
be added to the original transaction and the total will be deposited into your bank account along with the amount of the transaction.
5. If I do not want to charge a convenience fee can PayByComputer charge the fee?
If you choose the service offered by PayByComputer you con accept Master Card, Discover, American Express, and electronic checks
and PayByComputer will charge a service fee for testing our gateway. You will receive 100% of the payment you ore owed and your
customer will be charged a fee by PayByComputer.
6. Can I have my customers pay us at our web site?
Yes, PayByComputer will provide you with a link and a customized payment page at no additional charge. Your customers will be able
to enter information you require to help identify a payment by electronic check or credit card.
7. Can you help me if I do not have a web site?
Yes, you can invoice your customers and direct them on your invoice to paybycomputer.com where they can enter an id number and
make a payment on o customized payment page, which goes to your account at no additional charge.
8. I am thinking about electronically billing my customers. Can you help me?
Yes, PayByComputer offers this as an additional option.
9. I have some customers that are billed every month. Is there any way to set up the program so I can bill them without re-entering information?
Yes, PayByComputer con provide a system management program, which would allow.for repetitive billing.
10.Many of my customers do not have computers. Is there any other way for them to pay?
Yes, PayByComputer has a voice response program. They can dial in and make payments by credit card or check.
11.We only get to the bank once a week. Do you have a way to electronically deposit our checks?
Yes, PBC offers electronic check conversion. You can scan the check today and it will automatically deposit funds into your bank
account in 2 to 7 days depending on your circumstances. Banks withhold funds from your use for 2 to 7 days where our system makes
them 100% available.
12.Is it possible integrate our accounting program with PayByComputer?
Yes, in most cases the technical staff at PBC can assist you as long as your accounting program allows for importing and exporting.
13. I already have a merchant account. Do I have to switch services?
No. We can work with your existing processor.
14.Why is there a sign up fee?
Our programmers will work tirelessly to meet your requirements. This is only a one-time fee. After you are up and running you will not
have any other start up lees.
15.How long does it take to get my credit card money?
Credit cards process into your account as cosh in anywhere.from 2 lo 3 business days depending on the type of credit card.
15.How long does it take to get my electronic check money?
Electronic checks can process in 2 to 7 days depending on certain criteria. Check with your representative for details.
17.How long have you been providing this service?
We have been providing this service to customers for the past two years and PBC staff have spent over 10 years developing this product
and over 15 years in the industry.
18.Is my data safe?
Yes, PBC is Payment Card Industry compliant. Our data is considered safe and secure and we have received certification from a
compliance inspection.
